Introductions began with Scott Stone, Chamber Board President, and Craig Bicehouse, LCEDC Board President, and were followed by an update from Alex Halper, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs with the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. The evening featured an insightful Executive Leadership Panel with Dave Patton (UPMC Jameson/UPMC Horizon), Tyler Wilson (Wilson Lumber and Building Materials), and Brian Richards (CSI, a FirmaPak Company), moderated by Forward Lawrence’s Maxwell Frederick.

Our keynote speaker, Roman Mitz, Senior Director of Data Technologies at Carnegie Mellon University, delivered an engaging and practical presentation, Generative AI for Local Business — What It Is, What It Isn’t, and Where to Start, giving attendees a grounded look at how AI can support local operations.

Closing remarks were shared by Diane Richardson, Director of LCEDC, and Lyndsey Overby, Director of Chamber Operations.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the vendors who made the experience outstanding: Gorant Chocolatier for their incredible chocolate display; Weber Catering for exceptional food and service; Satin Sound for elevating the room with outstanding lighting and audio; Chelsea Party Rentals for the chair covers; Rogan Productions for video; The Scottish Rite Cathedral for hosting; and Neshannock Creek Brewing Company and VentiSei Wine Bar and Pizzeria for beverages.

Thank you to all of our event sponsors for their generous support and commitment to Lawrence County. Their partnership helps make our region a great place to live, work, and do business.

We appreciate every attendee who joined us for this special night and helped make the 119th Annual Reception a success.
