Chamber Perk-Up | Fancy Strawberry
Thank you to The Fancy Strawberry Cafe for graciously hosting and providing coffee and a generous breakfast spread for January Perk-Up, our casual networking meetups for members and future members of Forward Lawrence, Chamber and Economic Alliance.

Ginny from Visit Lawrence County shared a brief update on America250PA and how local communities can be part of the celebration.
Jack Lynn from City Rescue Mission spoke about their coffee drive and why it matters. Something as simple as donated coffee helps start the conversations for people working to rebuild their lives.
Sovereign Worldwide Martial Arts & Youth Development has upcoming workshops, Anita and Shelley from DON Services discussed first-time homebuyer grant opportunities, and Lawrence County SOPA shared details about their Polar Plunge fundraiser happening on Thursday, March 12th. There are plenty of ways for businesses and individuals to participate, even if jumping in the water is not your thing.
Scott also let us know about upcoming murder mystery events, exhibits, and programs at Arts & Education at the Hoyt.
Fancy’s Valentine’s Day menu does not disappoint, and they are also on the Coffee Trail, so stop in, shop local, and get your Coffee Club passport stamped!
